Belgian Chocolate + Milk Ice Cream

I scream, you scream… we are all going to scream “more please” for this home made ice-cream!

Yes, we’ve been experimenting in the kitchen again for another super simple, yet super delicious dessert and we have come up with an absolute creamer this time using our Belgian Chocolate + Milk as the hero ingredient.

This recipe requires an ice-cream or frozen dessert maker (we’ve used a Breville Scoop Factory) and just a few simple ingredients. If you don’t have a maker you can buy them for a reasonable price at appliance stores. If you love ice-cream as much as we do it truly is worth the investment. It’s quite surprising just how simple and quickly you can make your very own ice-cream at home. The creamy, velvety texture of our Belgian Chocolate + Milk adds a flavour and texture that simply can’t be beaten.

INGREDIENTS:

1 egg

1/2 cup of Bethune Lane Dairy Belgian Chocolate + Milk

3/4 cup sugar

2 cups cream

1 tsp vanilla

METHOD:

  1. Place egg, milk, sugar and vanilla into a bowl and beat until sugar dissolves.

  2. Pour in cream and beat until just combined.

  3. Refrigerate for at least an hour (overnight is best is an option) before using in your ice-cream maker.

  4. Follow steps to churn according to your ice-cream maker

  5. Enjoy!
